1. BDMA has a five-book limit for check-out.

2. Books are on loan to students for 14 calendar days.

3. Overdue books must be returned or renewed before checking out additional books.

4. If a book needs to be renewed, the student should bring the book to the media center. Books cannot be renewed if they are not on hand.

5. Lost or damaged books must be paid for before additional check-outs. The replacement cost of books includes shipping and processing.

6. The school will purchase replacement books. Books purchased by the parent through a book store or internet cannot be accepted.

**Students must return books for Christmas/winter break unless the media staff approves.

**Students return books approximately two weeks before the final day of school.
